The First Annual Pyramid Rock Bodysurfing Championships were held Saturday,February 10, at Kaneohe Marine Base in less than perfect ocean conditions.With 10 to 25+ MPH gusting tradewinds blowing in 3 to 7ft. 'victory at sea' conditions.Rain sqalls,fast-moving clouds,swirling currents and an unpredictable undertow tested the skills of each contestant.The contest finals ,semfinals, surf off were postponed a week to allow for improved,safer ocean conditions.
